Our world is evolving rapidly, nowhere more dramatically than in the medical field. Advances in medical and information technologies have brought about tremendous changes in every branch of medicine, where the incurable become treatable, the impossible become manageable.
As medical professionals, we are all in constant search for better treatments, newer answers and greater ideas. Although the way we practice medicine now is very different from Hippocrates did, the ultimate goal remains the same – to protect health and save lives, many at a time. To this end, it is crucial for us to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the prevention and management of diseases. The Diploma programme in Advances in Medicine is therefore designed to provide up-to-date knowledge on a wide spectrum of medical conditions in a practical manner. Since its inception in 2003, the programme has built an excellent platform for learning, sharing and networking.
